"From April to July 2009, the number of employed youth 16 to 24 years old increased by 1.6 million to 19.3 million, the Bureau of Labor Statistics of the U.S. Department of Labor reported today. This year, however, the pro- portion of young people who were employed in July was 51.4 percent, the lowest July rate on record for the series, which began in 1948."
Hi I'm Marissa
I'm a strategist at Mother
I work on projects that inspire and organize young creative people, like @ifweranit
Work: I have been a community organizer for the Democratic Party, an experience producer at Cunning and a culture and technology strategist at McCann Erickson.
Life: I get pumped about social enterprise, people-powered social change, VOGUE dramatics, EPCOT Center, Japanese animation, hot mess and glitter.
This Tumblr page features a whole bunch of nonsense and optimism I am collecting for your and my enlightenment and enjoyment.
